Mumford and Sons Join Lineup at Royal Albert Hall Charity Gig

Since 2000 The Royal Albert Hall in London has been hosting events to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The most recent of such concerts to be announced by the venue will take place on the 23rd March and will be headlined by Mumford and Sons.

The band took to Twitter and Instagram to announce the news with the following message:

“Following the advice from the UK government’s meeting this morning we’re happy to be able to announce that we will be rounding out this year’s series for TCT [Teenage Cancer Trust]. It’s a bit of a dream come true to be able to get involved in these famously awesome shows for this famously awesome organisation”.

Along with the performance by Mumford and Sons, The Royal Albert Hall will host a full week of performances from musicians and standup comics including: The Stereophonics, Groove Armada, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Seann Walsh, and Alan Carr.

Tickets for the Mumford and Sons performance go on sale on Friday, but tickets for the other shows are already available to purchase.
